Support of the Development of CDM-/JI-Projects (II):
The implementation of CDM-/JI-projects is subject to the rules and
regulations of the Kyoto Protocol, the Marrakesh-Accords as well as
numerous decisions of the meeting of the parties and the CDM Executive
Board.
These documents describe the project cycle for international
abatement projects and define among other things the conditions for the
additionality of projects, the content of the project design documents (PDD),
the validation of PDD and monitoring plan, the registration of the project
with the relevant authorities as well as the verification of the annual
emission reports, which are the precondition for the generation of emission
credits:
