Quality Manager:
A general knowledge of quality management systems according to
ISO 9001ff facilitates a better comprehension of management systems for
different purposes.
This know-how is very relevant for the audit of emissions monitoring
systems, which has to be performed during the verification process of
the emissions report.
Additionally the Monitoring-Guidelines of the EU, which also form a part
of the German emissions trading legislation, require a continuous
process improvement in emissions monitoring. This is a well known
requirement in quality management systems.
Dr. Arthur Pelchen was trained by the German Society for Quality (DGQ)
as quality manager.
